Kanika Garg is a Ph.D. student at Lulea Technical University (LTU). Currently, she works under the supervision of Prof. Reza Emami, chaired professor in the Onboard Space Systems group in the department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering. Her research is focused on designing an autonomous navigation system for aerobots in collaboration with Swedish Space Corporation (SSC).
She obtained her Bachelors degree from Manipal University, India (MIT). During her bachelors, she founded Manipal University student satellite team ( Parikshit) in collaboration with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). After her bachelors, she worked for an year with ISRO on designing of control system for reusable launch vehicle. She obtained her Masters degree from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in August, 2015.
